Responding to the open brief #36daysoftype. I used the open 'falcon wing' doors on the gorgeous Tesla Model X to create the letter X.

The inspiration for this project came after reading about the Utah Monolith. A Monolith that nobody seems to be responsible for and has been created (i guess) just 'to exist'.

I imagined Elon Musk and the folks at Tesla creating a Monolith in the desert somewhere on Earth or maybe even on Mars. The Monolith would be the car, simply opening and closing her doors for infinity, powered by a Tesla solar panel or two.

Tools used, Cinema 4D / Redshift, After Effects and Photoshop.
